About this app

System Map and Data Flow

What is this app for?: A living, editable picture of the school's systems: what each one is for, who runs it, where it is hosted, how people sign in, and which kinds of data pass between them.
Who can access it?: A few people only, named by the Head of IT. The map describes how our systems are built, so it stays private. Everyone on the list can look; only the owner can change it.

Every system as a card, grouped into zones, with lines for the data that moves between them. Follow one kind of data, such as medical conditions, and see everywhere it goes.

How people sign in

Switch to the identity view to see which systems use the school Microsoft account, and which keep a separate login.

Where data is hosted

See which systems keep data in Thailand and which keep it abroad, ready for the Data Protection Officer's review.

Honest about what is known

Every system and connection says whether it has been confirmed or still needs checking, so nobody relies on a guess.
